Apparently I’m on this kick where I don’t post for a whole year, and then I apologize profusely for not posting for a whole year, and I put up a recipe, and then another year passes, and I repeat the cycle. So here I am, again. Apologizing, again. And serving up a new revamped recipe for bacon wrapped green beans as a peace offering. Catch y’all next year!
JUST KIDDING. (I hope.)
While many of you following me on Instagram know that lately I have been following somewhat of a whole food, plant-based diet, there is a reason I won’t call myself “vegan”.
That reason is bacon. (Well, and cheese on nachos but that’s another story for another day.)
I promise you that bacon wrapped green beans are much more simple than they look. It’s one of those recipes that will wow dinner guests and leaving you feeling like a real Martha Stewart. I find that the most time consuming part is just dividing the green beans up into equal bundles. After that, wrapping them with bacon and drizzling the garlic butter over is easy peasy.
This is a delicious “dress up” of my recipe for roasted green beans, which are almost as good, but not quite – because bacon makes everything better, right?
Bacon Wrapped Grean Beans
Ingredients
- 1- 1 1/2 pounds fresh green beans ends trimmed

- 1 tsp soy sauce
- fresh cracked pepper to taste
Instructions

- Wrap 4-7 green beans with a strip of bacon and place in prepared dish. Repeat.
- Combine butter, brown sugar, garlic, soy sauce and pepper.
- Spoon over green bean bundles.
- Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until bacon and green beans are browned and crispy.

November 21, 2023 at 9:36 amCan these be prepped ahead of time? If so do I put the sauce on them too and place in fridge until ready to cook?

November 21, 2023 at 2:26 pmHi Angie! They sure can! I’ve prepped these ahead of time and placed them in the fridge several hours before cooking. They still turn out fabulous no matter what. Happy cooking! xo
